Who runs this game
Word Chain: Little Adventures is published by Abhisek Pattnaik. Last updated: 3 November 2026. This policy covers the Android game and its web version.
Play without an account
The game does not ask for your name, age, email, location, photos, or microphone access. It has no advertising, analytics SDK, sign-in, chat, payments, or online leaderboard. We do not operate a game server that receives your word entries.
What stays on your device
The game stores your word chain, star count, elapsed play time, and dictionary words confirmed by a grown-up in local app storage. On the web, this is stored in your browser for this website. These entries are not sent by the game to the publisher. Please avoid entering personal information as words. Android cloud backup is disabled in the standalone app configuration; your device manufacturer’s transfer or backup tools may have their own behaviour.
Erase or keep your progress
Use “Erase saved progress & dictionary” in the game, then confirm. This removes the saved game and all grown-up-approved words from this app or browser. Uninstalling the Android app or clearing this website’s browser storage also removes local progress. Storage is separate on each device and browser; deleting one copy does not delete other copies. Browser or device storage settings may clear progress automatically.
Optional spoken turns
Narration is off by default. When requested, the displayed narration text is passed to your device or browser’s text-to-speech service. That service may process text online, depending on your installed voices and settings, under its provider’s policies. Install an offline voice or leave narration off if you do not want to use an online voice. The game does not record speech.
Visiting the web version
Our web host receives normal website requests, which can include an IP address, browser information, requested page, and request time to deliver and protect the site. The web version is hosted on Vercel. These hosting requests are separate from the game’s locally stored word history. The game adds no advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser and hosting provider may retain technical logs under their own settings and policies.
Children and grown-ups
The game is intended for children playing with a grown-up. The publisher does not knowingly collect children’s personal information through gameplay. Grown-ups should handle support requests and dictionary confirmations. If you email support, your email provider and ours process your message; we use it to answer your request. Do not send a child’s personal information.
